Dale is now a seasonal resident about 20 miles from Ely on Eagles Nest Lake. Fishing and grouse hunting are the times of the year he looks forward to. Jim and Dale office in both the Twin Cities and Phoenix Arizona covering everything from water to desert. They know northern Minnesota! Ely is an entry area into the Boundry Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. (BWCA) The BWCA is a pristine boreal forest boasting a million plus acres of breathtaking scenery and has more water than land. The forests and rock outcrops are home to a large variety of wildlife including moose, dear, wolves, grouse, martin and many more. Permits are required to venture into the BWCA. Jim and Dale can point you in the direction of your needs be it permits, fishing guides, hiking trails or outfitters that can fully equip you for that camping adventure of your life. Ely, Minnesota: Dorothy Molter was the last remaining resident of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness until her death in 1986. She was known as the Root Beer Lady, because visitors from all over the world would paddle up to her door to purchase over 10,000 bottles of root beer each year.
