Mon, May 5, 2008I am looking for Lakefront residential community with great water
conditions in my own back yard for water ski practice. I need to find a
home steps away from the lakes and never have to trailer a boat, drive
to the lake, or deal with crowded and unsafe waterways again.
These days many of these real estate projects also allow wakeboarding,
tubing, barefoot waterskiing, and jump. Several include playgrounds for
the kids, equestrian centers, kayaking, swimming pools,
walking/jogging/bike paths, tennis courts, fishing opportunities, and
more.
Please help me with this search; It must be close to Loveland or Fort
Collins in Colorado-US due to work.
I am looking to live there and drive to work on a daily basis.

Fri, Apr 27, 2007Richard Appleton, I would suggest looking at all the waterfront property on the Chesapeake Bay, in Maryland or Virginia. To stay within one hour of a teaching hospital, there are three to keep in mind: Georgetown University Hospital; George Washington University Hospital, both in Washington DC, and in Baltimore, Johns Hopkins University Hospital. All three are highly regarded. You will find some nice properties in your price range. Hope it all works out well for you.

Tue, Mar 1, 2005For those looking to retire or that are looking for a cabin retreat on a lake or that has a view of a lake, you need to look into Bear Lake. Half the lake is in northern Utah and half in southern Idaho. This is a awesome location to retire or bring the family and enjoy a peaceful get away. Bear Lake is a very small but personal community. The land is gorgeous and price unbelievable! There is acreage for potential developmen, great investment opportunities, and amazing building lots. Bear Lake is the 8th wonder of the world commonly known as the "Caribbean of the Rockies". The color of the lake changes everyday and everyday my breath is taken away by it's beauty. All in all Bear Lake is a place you should visit at least once in your life, if for nothing else investment!

I know that the saying "if one has to ask how much something is, one probably can't afford it" but I will ask anyway. I am looking for lakefront which is not over-developed and would be willing to relocate almost anywhere. I was thinking about someplace where there are four seasons but not in the snow belt. I would probably put up a small modular home at least 1500 square feet which I would use as a retirement home or even a cottage which is in relatively decent condition. I am single and on a budget. Can you give me some ideas as to costs for just land or a property/cottage which is secluded and needs some repair? The lower cost the better.
